KEY PROJECTS
Program Evaluation – Process and Outcome…
EMT’s approach to our work is firmly grounded in the realities of street-level service provision. In our early years, EMT’s project portfolio consisted largely of evaluations of local and state programs. Our work typically involved close collaboration with agencies, providers and community-based organizations, and our study designs consistently combined process and outcome components. Our commitment to maximizing the relevance of evaluation findings and feedback, and to clearly meeting client information needs, was forged in this early experience.
Our work in program evaluation has encompassed diverse strategies and intervention types, including mentoring, in-school and after-school programming, family-centered services, environmental strategies, community coalitions and more. Our program evaluation project experience is extensive. We have completed well over 100 studies in the areas of perinatal and pregnancy programs, early childhood and family services, in-school prevention programs, after-school prevention programs, criminal justice and enforcement, community partnerships and coalitions, and others.
