Incarcerated Parent Program

The Incarcerated Parent Project is a collaboration between a private non-profit organization with a long history providing services to incarcerated men and women and their families, and two public organizations - child welfare services and the Sheriff's department. EMT has been evaluating the project since its inception in 2010. In the first two years of the project, a process and outcome evaluation was conducted, including annual interviews with key staff, an online survey for child protective services workers, and administrative data tracking all project activities. In the third year, a process evaluation was conducted, consisting of analysis of monthly services data. A cumulative annual report has been produced for the last three years, tracking monthly service contacts and details of visits.
